Lovebox has become a hub for the littest music in London. It’s one of the most exciting festivals in the UK, especially if you want to see the hottest artists of the moment.

For 16 years Lovebox has attracted huge names such as Frank Ocean, D’Angelo and Stormzy. This year the festival is shaping up to host music legends such as Diplo, Skepta and Wu Tang Clan.  Ahead of the festival, which takes place 13th and 14th of July at Gunnersbury Park, we’re breaking down the line up showing you who to look out for.

Friday sees an exclusive UK appearance where Wu-Tang Clan hit the main stage celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album “Enter The Wu-Tang” – considered to be one of the greatest albums in hip hop history. They’ve positioned themselves as one of the most influential collectives in rap, releasing banger after banger such as “C.R.E.A.M” and “Gravel Pit” to name a few. We’re sure they’ll put on a lit set that’s definitely not to be missed.

SZA is quickly becoming one of the hottest female vocalists. With a soulful and sensual approach to Hip-Hop and R&B, her 2017 release Ctrl positioned her as one of the best soul singers in recent years. Make sure to catch her on the Main Stage on Friday.

Childish Gambino has said he’ll be retiring after he drops his next song, said to be on its way, so this could potentially be his last festival appearance in the UK. Performing on the main stage on Saturday, he’ll sure be singing his latest release “This Is America” and hopefully some popular classics such as “3005” and “Redbone”.

N.E.R.D is another one not to be missed. Made up of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shae Haley, they released their first album in 2017, after seven years which, included their hit single “Lemon” featuring Rihanna. They’ve also collabed with Future on their track “1000” and Kendrick Lamar on “Don’t Do It!”. A N.E.R.D comeback is rare so make sure you catch them performing on the Saturday.

Others to watch out for include Anderson Paak, who has recently supported Bruno Mars on Tour, quickly becoming one of the most sought after names in hip hop, soul and R&B. Catch him bringing the energy to the main stage on Friday. Also performing on the Friday is Vince Staples. He has been described as one of the best lyricists of recent years, with props to the messages in his music.

Saturday sees Jungle Brown take to the stage. Known for their dynamic approach to hip-hop they will no doubt put on an energetic performance whilst DVSN, the R&B duo signed to Drake’s record label, are sure to bring the heat during their performance on Saturday.
