Our list will make you want to throw on your Manse hooded top and sweat pants for an evening of chilling in front of the TV.

Gladiator (April 2nd)

Are you not entertained? Well, you will be if you stream this over April. This classic film for 2000 is the perfect choice for a movie night. If you haven't seen it before but want the lowdown we'll give you a brief summary of the plot but just to warn you everyone's name are pretty complicated.

Hispano-Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius, played by Russel Crowe, is betrayed when Commodus, the son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, murders his father and seizes the throne. After being reduced to slavery by Commodus Maximus competes in the gladiatorial arena to avenge the murders of his family and his emperor.

Basically, it's a classic and perfect for a night in with the lads or for when you just need something to watch while chilling at home.

Our Planet (April 5th)

The main man David Attenborough is back. This time he has left the BBC and created a Netflix original series. The documentary will examine how climate change is having an effect on our planet and the species we share it with.

Eight episodes will be released on the 5th April so it is the perfect watch to binge with your partner- because let's be honest, anything Attenborough does is amazing.

Over 600 crew members captured around three and a half thousand filming days for the series. Viewers will be treated to different habitats within the series, from the Arctic wilderness, the huge plains of Africa and jungles of South America. A must watch for when your plans get cancelled.

American Gangster (April 17th)

Released in 2007, American Gangster is a biographical crime film based on the criminal career of Frank Lucas. A gangster from La Grange, North Carolina, Lucas smuggled heroin into the USA on planes returning from the Vietnam War.

The film tells two parallel stories. The first is of Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington), and the other, Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe). Frank Lucas now runs Harlem selling heroin, while Richie Roberts is a struggling New Jersey detective who refuses to bend to corruption.

With an R rating, it is bound to have you on the edge of your seat. Scoring 80% on Rotten Tomatoes we have a feeling this could soon become your new favourite film.
