With a new year, comes new things to stream on Netflix. It’s January, the days are as dark as they are cold, and nothing brings more joy that binge-watching in bed.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 4 (5th Jan)
If you’ve never seen Brooklyn Nine-Nine – where’ve you been? This hit comedy series has been around since 2013 and doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon. With season 4 now added to Netflix, you can catch up on the latest goings-on of the Holt, Peralta and the New York-based Precinct, and binge on the earlier seasons, too.

Hostel Part: II (12th Jan)
The follow up to the 2005 horror of the same name, Hostel: Part II follows three American students on their travels around Rome. Equally as gruesome as the first instalment, this movie, directed by Eli Roth, is enough to take your mind off the January blues for good.

Suits: Season 6 (30th Jan)
If you’re feeling more of a series binge, then Suits is right up your street. Season 6 of this legal drama lands on Netflix UK on the 30th, following up on the events that led up to the big arrest at the end of season 5. Your last chance to catch Meghan Markle before she becomes a real-life princess, make sure to watch this as soon as it drops.

The Undateables: Seasons 1-3 (1st Jan)
This heartwarming docu-series first premiered a few years back on Channel Four, following the lives of people that face challenging conditions and are on the lookout for love. Adorable and witty, this is enough to make you smile through January.
